Leadership in a world that no longer has clear answers.

Sherry Keramidas is a neuroscientist, former three-time CEO, and trusted advisor to leaders navigating complexity, disruption, and change.

For more than three decades, she led organizations, built global communities, and helped professionals step into larger influence — not by relying on certainty, but by building the capacity to learn, adapt, and see differently.

Today, she works with executives, boards, and high-potential leaders who are ready to move beyond what worked before and build what will work next.

What shaped how I lead

Early in my training as a neuroscientist, I learned that growth happens when the brain encounters what it does not yet understand.

Years later, when I stepped into my first CEO role in a field where I was not the expert, I recognized the same principle at work in organizations.

Progress did not come from having the answers.

It came from creating the conditions for learning.

That realization has guided every leadership role I have held — and it shapes how I work with leaders today.

“The moment a leader stops needing to be the expert is the moment real leadership begins.”

Leadership in a world that no longer has clear answers.

Experience matters.

But in complex, rapidly changing environments, experience alone can become a filter that hides emerging risk and new possibility.

The leaders who succeed are not those who project the most certainty.

They are the ones who remain curious the longest.

They ask better questions.

They invite broader intelligence.

They adapt faster than the environment changes around them.

Successful leaders today learn to apply what I call Strategic Not-Knowing— the disciplined capacity to pause judgment, stay curious, and create space for learning before action.

How I help leaders move forward

I engage as a catalyst for new ways of thinking, new choices, and new actions.

Whether on a keynote stage, in the boardroom, or working one-to-one, my role is to help leaders expand how they see, so they can expand what becomes possible.

I guide them on applying Strategic Not-Knowing and together, we strengthen leadership plasticity — the capacity to grow, respond, and lead effectively amid uncertainty.

Why This Approach Works

Because it is grounded in lived responsibility.

I led organizations through transformation, financial reinvention, field evolution, and global disruption.

I know the weight leaders carry.

And I know that real progress happens when leaders feel safe enough to question what they think they know.
